Analysis of energy flow in a hybrid drive system with a hydrogen-powered combustion engine

The article concerns the possibility of using a hydrogen-powered combustion engine cooperating with an electric machine in a parallel, hybrid drive system. The drive system is installed in a research vehicle designed by students of the Krakow University of Technology. The article will present the results of tests on a chassis dynamometer aimed at measuring the energy flow in a hybrid drive system, while driving the vehicle with an engine powered by petrol or hydrogen and an electric motor. It is planned to perform load characteristics for selected speeds of the research vehicle. The results of the tests will be used to develop the most beneficial strategy for the flow of energy in the vehicle\'s drive system.
