The influence of ignition timing on the operating parameters of a vehicle powered by gaseous fuels

The study aims to describe the process of creating an ignition advance angle map for an engine powered by gas fuels (LPG and CNG). The Opel Astra vehicle with a 1.6 dm3 engine, adapted to run on gas fuels, was used as the research object. It was determined what effect a properly selected ignition advance angle has on the operating parameters of power and torque. The angle was selected for full engine load and for partial loads.
