Artificial Intelligence in Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Systems: Opportunities and Threat
The development of artificial intelligence (AI) significantly impacts the technology of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), opening up new possibilities in rescue, firefighting, and chemical operations. Autonomy, precision, and the ability to make adaptive decisions make AI-powered UAVs increasingly effective tools in rescue efforts, such as locating individuals in difficult terrain, extinguishing fires, and identifying chemical hazards. This paper presents an overview of the latest advancements in the field of AI applied to UAVs used during rescue operations. Key technologies are discussed, including machine learning algorithms, vision systems, and autonomous navigation, which enable UAVs to perform complex tasks in dynamic and unpredictable environments. Furthermore, the issue of safety, which is an integral element of the development of this technology, is also addressed.
