Impact of atmospheric conditions on the energy intensity of the electric drive system
Electromobility is developing rapidly in all areas of transportation, starting with small personal vehicles and passenger cars through public transportation vehicles and ending with noticeable expansion in the area of urban transportation services. The usefulness of a vehicle depends on its range, so it is important to determine it properly. Seasons - a change in outdoor temperature can affect global energy consumption, so the article focuses on comparing trips on the same electric vehicle during winter and summer test. In addition, the paper presents the impact of changing the recuperation mode, determines the maximum energy recovery and identifies the areas of drive operation responsible for the highest energy consumption in the RDC test.
