In this work, a neural network was used to determine the energy expenditure of electric vehicles. The energy expenditure was described in the form of regression models. The regression models included key explanatory variables that statistically significantly affect the value of the energy expenditure of vehicles. The independent variables included in the models were the length of the route section, the average weight of the car with a load, the time of vehicle departure from the base, the number of loading/unloading points on the route along with the number of stops resulting from the route infrastructure, the average terrain slope, the average wind speed. Multiple regression analysis was used to verify the effectiveness of the neural network.
