The article presents the results of emission of toxic fumes during road tests of a city bus. The object of the study was the Mercedes Connecto city bus. The results of emission of toxic fumes were recorded in real time while bus driving with the use of Semtech Ecostar exhaust gas analysis system. The study involved a planned bus ride similar to the SORT 2 driving test. During the tests the chemical exhaust gases as CO2, CO, NO, NO2, NOx, THC, HC were recorded. During the study, driving conditions were constant (rides took place at the airport), exhaust gas temperature (hot engine) was also constant, etc. The results were based on average values from several rides. The influence of the electric load in bus grid at the level of toxic emissions were measured.
