Evaluation of the impact of using the cruise control system on the energy consumption of a passenger car
This article presents the results of road tests of a passenger car, which was propelled with spark-ignition engine meeting the Euro 6 emission standard. The aim of the study was to verify the impact of the cruise control system application on the fuel consumption of this vehicle. The measurements were performed with mobile equipment for exhaust gas measurements PEMS type. The tests were carried out in the real road traffic conditions during expressway journeys.
